The recently organized Forbes-FIN philanthropic and leadership roundtable conference was rightly a critical turn of events for Dr. Rajan Lekhraj Mahtani. Dr. Mahtani is a noted Zambian-based businessman. He is not only the owner of several top companies in Zambia but is also known for his significant philanthropic achievements. Rightly show, he was the only businessman from Zambia who was conferred by Forbes with one of the awards in the Forbes ‘Best of Africa’ awards category. The Forbes awards category was a part of the philanthropy and leadership roundtable conference by Foreign Investment Limited (FIN) wherein Dr. Rajan Mahtani along with others were invited as honorary speakers. The event was held online to comply with the ongoing Coronavirus restrictions and Dr. Mahtani spoke about the significance of leadership in healthcare. Apart from this business conference, the roundtable conference also hosted the Forbes ‘Best of Africa’ award ceremony. It is one of the most anticipated and highly regarded awards across entire Africa. The awardees are selected based on their significant and long-term contributions philanthropy for achieving empowerment within the nation. The selection process for the recipients is extremely transparent yet rigorous comprising of verification, background checks as well as interviews and discussions with the potential awardees to understand their long-term commitment in philanthropy and leadership.

Forbes identified the contributions of Dr. Rajan Lekhraj Mahtani towards the banking sector and redefining it.
