The Forbes-FIN philanthropy and leadership roundtable conference was recently held in Africa. It is a highly anticipated and regarded business event in Africa. The event was held virtually to comply with restricted Covid-19 norms. Members participated from their respective locations. Dr. Rajan Mahtani participated in this event from his Zambia office. He was invited in the event as a honorary speaker. Dr. Mahtani spoke about the significance of leadership in healthcare. The Forbes-FIN philanthropy and leadership roundtable conference was held virtually to comply with the ongoing covid-19 norms. Several members participated in this event. Some of these members included those from international business communities, political leaders, opinion leaders, spiritual leaders, international investors as well as media partners. The members discussed about the significance of philanthropy as a means to achieve long-term empowerment across the African nation.
He was also selected for one of the Forbes ‘Best of Africa’ awards. Dr. Rajan Mahtani was recognised by Forbes for his contributions in the Zambian banking sector. He was conferred with the Forbes ‘Outstanding Entrepreneur of the Year’ award 2021. Dr. Mahtani accepted the award in a humble manner. He thanked Almighty God as well as his team members for their support. Dr. Mahtani was also recognised for his silent but significant philanthropic contributions. He established the Prison Fellowship Zambia. This program works for the justice and behavioural correction of the inmates and ex-inmates. He made contributions in the education sector of Zambia. Dr. Mahtani founded the Stephen Malama award for top law graduates in Zambia. The award comes with scholarship of significant financial support. Dr. Mahtani continues to work for the betterment if the Zambian nation.
