Dr. Rajan Mahtani was recently conferred with one of the Forbes ‘Best of Africa’ awards. Dr. Mahtani is known for his several philanthropic and charitable contributions across Zambia over the past few decades. Forbes recognized these contributions and conferred Dr. Rajan Mahtani with the Forbes ‘Outstanding Entrepreneur of the Year’ award 2021. He was presented with this award especially for redefining the banking sector of Zambia. Dr. Mahtani is one of the most respected and recognized businessmen from Zambia. Apart from the Forbes ‘Best of Africa’ award ceremony, Dr. Mahtani was also part of the Forbes-FIN philanthropy and leadership roundtable conference. It is one of the most anticipated and notable philanthropic events across Africa. Several members participated in the FIN roundtable conference virtually. These included members from international business communities, political leaders, religious leaders, spiritual leaders, entrepreneurs, visionaries, media partners as well as international business investors. The event was held virtually and members participated from their respective locations. Dr. Mahtani also participated from his respective location.

Apart from the above, Dr. Mahtani is also known for his philanthropic contributions. Dr. Mahtani founded the Prison Fellowship Zambia, a program focussing on the welfare of the inmates of Zambia. Similarly, Dr. Mahtani founded the Stephen Malama award and scholarship for top law graduates in Zambia. Dr. Rajan Mahtani humbly accepted the award, thanking Almighty God for constant support and strength. He also thanked his team for their impeccable performance and motivation to keep going.
