The 2017 Economic Summit held in Zambia paved way for critical economic discussions within the nation. The summit was a successful event which saw participation from numerous successful businessmen, industrialists, corporate houses, company representatives as well as experts from several fields and sectors. The summit also saw attendance from several notable businessmen in Zambia, including Dr. Rajan Mahtani. Dr. Mahtani is known for his successful businesses and established companies. He has been working in Zambia for more than three decades during which, he has established numerous high-level companies. His companies are also noted for their work towards the less privileged sections of the society. Some of his companies include Mahtani Group of Companies, Finance Bank Zambia and Finsbury Investments. He is also involved in several charitable activities and philanthropic works although he never uses his philanthropic and charitable activities for public promotions or improving his company reputations.
As a result, his contributions for the African Summit were news to everyone. After the Economic Summit was successfully completed, the Chief Press Secretary of the event shared a press release in which he thanked Dr. Rajan Mahtani for his significant financial contribution which helped in completing the event without any hassle. Dr. Rajan Mahtani was also praised for his active participation in the event. He also helped several young entrepreneurs and businesses by sharing his business acumen and experience with them during the event.
